CogniSpine is a patented three-dimensional comfort product designed for lying face down.
Your face rests in the opening at the front.
Your shoulders, torso and pelvis are supported by different parts of the surface.
Different areas have different shapes and support firmness.
The shape is deliberate.
Where it began
CogniSpine began with a supported face-down position that Dr. Ronen Mendi had used in his chiropractic work with women during pregnancy.
He began thinking that access to that position should not have to depend on coming to him and his clinic.
He wanted them to be able to have something at home that would allow them to lie in that position when they wanted to.
That led to attempts to recreate the position outside the treatment table.
CogniSpine developed from there.

Placement
Preferably use CogniSpine on your bed.
It may also be used on another flat, soft and stable surface that provides enough space for correct positioning and for getting on and off safely.
Using CogniSpine
Lie face down on CogniSpine.
Place your face in the opening at the front so that your head remains straight and facing downward.
Your abdomen and chest rest on the central area, and your pelvis rests on the rear area.
Your thighs and legs extend beyond CogniSpine onto the supporting surface.
Place your arms alongside CogniSpine, as shown in the User Manual. Let your forearms and hands rest naturally on the supporting surface.
Additional support may be used when needed for comfort and fit, as described in the User Manual.
A usual period of use is approximately 10–15 minutes.
CogniSpine is designed for use in this position.
Once you are positioned, there is no exercise or movement to perform, no breathing technique to follow, and no particular state you need to try to create.
CogniSpine is passive, and its use is passive.
Initial use
When you first begin, give yourself time to become familiar with CogniSpine.
If 10–15 minutes is not comfortable, begin with a shorter period and increase gradually as you become accustomed to the position.
Detailed positioning and use instructions are provided in the User Manual.
Available at home
Once CogniSpine is at home, the possibility of using it is there.
Whether and when you use it remain your decision.
Safety
